First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how tiny changes in RNA, a molecule in your cells, might help predict whether depression treatments will work. Researchers at Mayo Clinic will follow 120 adults with unipolar or bipolar depression to see if these RNA changes relate to improvements in mood. The goal is to better understand depression and potentially guide future treatment choices.
