New hope for kids with aggressive brain cancer: targeted drug combo trial launches

Summary
This study tests whether adding two different drug combinations after radiation can help children and young adults (up to age 21) with high-grade gliomas, including DIPG, live longer. One group receives ribociclib plus everolimus; another gets ribociclib plus temozolomide. The goal is to see if these targeted therapies can slow tumor growth and improve survival.
