NCT ID NCT07526623
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether combining two relaxation techniques—Benson relaxation and Jacobson progressive muscle relaxation—can reduce symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in women aged 18 to 30. Fifty-six female students with PMS will be split into three groups: one using Benson relaxation, one using Jacobson relaxation, and one using both techniques together. They will practice these methods three times a week for two months, and their symptoms will be measured before and after the treatment using a standard PMS scale.
