New blood thinners aim to cut bleeding risk in heart patients

Summary
This study tests two experimental drugs, REGN7508 and REGN9933, to prevent blood clots in people with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat). About 1,200 participants will receive one of the new drugs or the standard blood thinner apixaban. The main goal is to see if the new drugs cause less bleeding while still preventing strokes.
