Summary
This study looked at whether avoiding plastic in food, personal care, and cleaning products can lower levels of plastic-related chemicals in the body and improve health markers in adults with heart disease risk factors. Sixty participants either followed a low-plastic lifestyle for four weeks or continued as usual. Researchers measured chemical levels in urine and other health indicators to see if reducing plastic exposure makes a difference.
