First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study aims to create a large registry of women with Functional Hypothalamic Amenorrhea (FHA), a condition where the body stops producing estrogen early due to stress, low weight, or excessive exercise. Researchers will track up to 100,000 participants over time to learn how common FHA is, who it affects, and how it impacts long-term health. The goal is to gather information, not to test a treatment.
