First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether a naturally occurring hormone called kisspeptin can help women with hypothalamic amenorrhea (a condition where periods stop due to low reproductive hormones) release eggs. Twenty women will receive daily injections of kisspeptin for two weeks. Researchers will monitor hormone levels and egg growth to see if the treatment works.
