First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study compares two head positions (ramp vs sniffing) for placing a breathing tube in adults having planned surgery under general anesthesia. Researchers will measure how often the tube goes in on the first try, how long it takes, and how stable the heart rate and blood pressure remain. The goal is to find which position is safer and more efficient for routine intubation.
