First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study is a registry that will follow 4,000 adults in the UK who have been recently diagnosed with heart failure and have a weakened heart pump (ejection fraction below 50%). Researchers will collect information on their health outcomes, such as hospital stays and deaths, to see how well current treatments and guidelines are working. No new treatments are being tested—this is purely an observation study to learn more about the disease.
