Summary

This study tests whether Qidong Yixin Granules, an herbal medicine, can reduce the chance of atrial fibrillation returning within a year after a standard heart ablation procedure. About 846 adults with persistent atrial fibrillation will be randomly assigned to receive either the granules or a placebo for 12 months. Researchers will track heart rhythm with ECGs and Holter monitors at regular follow-ups.
