First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether pulsatile compression boots can improve heart and kidney function in people hospitalized with acute heart failure and leg swelling. About 100 participants will receive three daily sessions of the boots plus standard care. The goal is to see if this added therapy is safe and helps reduce fluid buildup and strain on the heart.
