First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study compares two ways of doing a pulpotomy (a type of root canal) for adults with a painful, infected tooth. Half the treatments will use a special dental microscope, and half will not. The goal is to see if the microscope helps the tooth heal better over time. Fifty healthy adults with deep cavities will be followed for at least a year.
