First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at two materials, MTA and Biodentine, used to treat a painful tooth condition called symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Sixty adults with severe tooth pain will get a pulpotomy, where the infected part of the tooth's nerve is removed and one of the materials is placed. The goal is to see which material helps the tooth heal better over 3 months, offering a possible alternative to root canal treatment.
