Massive study tracks 3,000 patients to unlock secrets of deadly lung disease

Summary
This national registry aims to understand how people with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) are diagnosed and treated across the United States. It will follow 3,000 patients over time to see if care follows recommended guidelines and to identify what factors lead to better or worse health outcomes, including survival. The study collects detailed health information but does not test new treatments.
