First seen Dec 04, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether combining two types of injections—platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hyaluronic acid—works better than either alone for knee osteoarthritis. About 288 adults aged 40-75 with knee pain will receive one of three treatments and be monitored for changes in pain, stiffness, and daily function. The goal is to find a more effective way to manage symptoms without surgery.
