New proton beam approach targets bulky tumors

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new type of proton therapy called Pro-GRID for people with large tumors (over 7 cm) that are hard to treat. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and can shrink tumors or ease symptoms. About 11 adults with sarcoma or melanoma are taking part.
