New program aims to cut heart risks in psoriasis patients

Summary

This study tests whether a dedicated care coordinator can help people with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis lower their risk of heart disease. About 520 adults aged 40-75 who are not already on cholesterol medication will receive support to manage risk factors like high cholesterol. The goal is to prevent heart attacks and strokes by applying standard prevention guidelines.
