First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a combination of aerobic exercise, cognitive training, and turmeric (with black pepper) can prevent memory decline in adults aged 55-70 who have insulin resistance and self-reported memory concerns. Participants will follow a 24-week program, repeated after a year, and researchers will measure changes in thinking skills, insulin resistance, and markers of inflammation. The goal is to find a practical way to reduce dementia risk in a high-risk population.
