Summary
This study tested a doctor-designed dose adjustment algorithm to prevent unplanned delays in FOLFOX chemotherapy for people with cancers of the colon, stomach, esophagus, and other digestive organs. 52 adults participated, and the goal was to see if the algorithm could keep treatment on schedule while maintaining effective dose levels. The approach aims to reduce interruptions caused by low blood cell counts, helping patients stay on track with their cancer therapy.
