NCT ID NCT07399093

First seen Feb 10, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple ultrasound scan before brain surgery can predict if a patient's blood pressure will drop dangerously low after they receive anesthesia. Researchers will measure the size of two major blood vessels and see how well those measurements predict low blood pressure. The goal is to help doctors prepare and prevent complications. The study involves 36 adults scheduled for elective brain surgery.
