First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study aims to see if artificial intelligence can predict serious heart rhythm problems, like atrial fibrillation, after high-risk surgeries. Researchers will record ECGs from 300 adults before surgery and analyze over 200 heart cycle parameters to find the best prediction method. The goal is to improve safety for patients undergoing major operations on the heart, aorta, liver, lungs, or other organs.
