NCT ID NCT07446036

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at 500 adults having pituitary tumor surgery through the nose. Researchers want to find out who gets headaches soon after surgery and build a tool to predict that risk. Participants report their pain daily and fill out surveys for up to 3 months after surgery.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this could help doctors predict and manage headaches after pituitary surgery, improving patient comfort and recovery.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It may not lead to direct changes in care, and the prediction model needs validation in other groups.
