Summary
This study aimed to see if adding pramlintide to semaglutide changes appetite and eating habits in obese adults with prediabetes. Researchers planned to give 40 participants weekly semaglutide shots for 24 weeks, then add either pramlintide or a placebo for two more weeks. The goal was to find ways to predict who responds best to obesity medications, but the study was withdrawn before starting.
