NCT ID NCT07231380

First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests two methods doctors use to remove blood clots from the brain during a stroke. About 500 adults who have a large-vessel blockage will be randomly assigned to either a cyclic (pulsing) suction technique or a static (steady) suction technique. The goal is to see which method clears the blockage more completely on the first try and leads to better recovery after 90 days.
