New stroke technique could boost recovery rates

Summary

This study tests two methods of removing blood clots from the brain in people having a stroke. About 500 adults will be randomly assigned to either a cyclic suction technique or a steady suction method. The goal is to see which approach restores blood flow more effectively after the first attempt and improves recovery at 90 days.
