Summary

This study tests a program called PILI 'Āina that helps Native Hawaiians manage type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and overweight. About 1,780 adults will take part in cooking demonstrations and learn how to eat more traditional Hawaiian foods. The goal is to improve diet, health numbers, and community connections.
