First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary

Researchers will measure changes in posture, core strength, and flexibility to see which approach works best.

What this could lead to
If Pilates proves more effective than conventional therapy, it could offer a simple, drug-free option for easing low back pain and improving posture in young adults.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 50 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The study relies on subjective measures, and benefits may be modest or no better than standard exercises.
