Tailored surveillance could curb cancer risk in FAP patients

Summary
This study aims to see if a personalized schedule for checking and treating polyps in the stomach and duodenum can prevent cancer in people with familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP). About 1,000 adults with FAP will receive endoscopies and polyp removal based on their individual risk. The goal is to reduce advanced polyps and cancer while avoiding unnecessary procedures.
