First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized surgery guided by a sleep endoscopy works better than standard tonsil removal for children aged 2-17 with small tonsils and moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea. About 240 children will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries. The goal is to improve breathing during sleep and reduce the need for additional surgeries.
