First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study aims to find out how common atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) is after heart surgery and what makes some people more likely to get it. About 150 adults having planned open-heart surgery will wear a small EKG patch to track their heart rhythm. The results could help doctors better predict and prevent this complication in the future.
