Summary
This study aims to test and improve a short questionnaire designed to screen for periodontitis (severe gum disease). About 495 patients at dental clinics across Italy will fill out the questionnaire and then receive a full dental exam. Researchers will compare the questionnaire answers to the clinical exam results to see how accurately the quiz can identify people who have the disease.
