Immunotherapy combo shows promise in tough brain cancer trial

Summary

This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab to standard chemotherapy and radiation can help people with newly diagnosed glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. About 52 adults with this diagnosis will receive the combination therapy. The goal is to see if the treatment is safe and improves survival compared to standard care alone.
