Summary
This study looks at how eating peanuts affects inflammation and appetite in older adults who are overweight. Researchers compared a meal with peanuts (low in unhealthy fats) to a high-fat meal. The goal is to see if peanuts can help reduce inflammation and promote healthy aging. Seventeen older adults took part in this short-term feeding study.
