Could a Part-Time glucose monitor be just as good for diabetes control?
NCT ID NCT07336329
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether people with type 2 diabetes (who don't use insulin) can wear a continuous glucose monitor only two weeks each month instead of all the time, and still keep their blood sugar under control. About 150 adults will first wear the monitor full-time for 3 months, then be split into two groups: one continues full-time, the other switches to part-time. Researchers will compare blood sugar levels, weight, blood pressure, and satisfaction to see if part-time use is just as effective.
