First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear (vagus nerve) can boost the benefits of physical therapy for people with Parkinson's disease. 25 participants completed the study. The goal was to see if this combination could improve movement, balance, walking, and overall quality of life. The approach is safe and drug-free, aiming to ease symptoms rather than cure the disease.
