Can learning about pills change minds? Parkinson's study tests Education's power
NCT ID NCT04228523
Summary
This study tested whether special educational workshops could change how people with Parkinson's disease think and feel about their medications. Researchers compared 24 patients who attended a workshop about Parkinson's drugs to a control group who had general discussions. They measured changes in patients' beliefs about medicines, their knowledge, and quality of life over three months.
