Parkinson's patients wanted for landmark brain study

Summary

This study follows 60 Parkinson's disease patients who are scheduled for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery. Researchers will collect detailed information on brain activity, thinking skills, and movement before, during, and after the procedure. The goal is to learn how DBS affects the brain over time, which could lead to better treatments. Participants must be 21 or older, have Parkinson's, and be eligible for DBS.
