NCT ID NCT05721911
First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study aims to create a large national collection of biological samples from 230 people with Parkinson's disease or a related sleep disorder. Researchers will analyze the complete genetic code of participants to find rare gene changes linked to the disease. They will also create special stem cell lines from these samples to study how certain gene combinations contribute to Parkinson's. The goal is to better understand the genetic causes of the disease, not to test a new treatment.
