First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving two drugs, Ulinastatin and Thymosin α1, right after emergency surgery for a torn aorta can prevent serious complications like widespread inflammation and organ failure. About 200 adults will receive these drugs to see if they lower the risk of new or lasting organ damage. The goal is to improve recovery and reduce deaths after this life-threatening event.
