First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to standard pain relief is safe for women with severe preeclampsia after giving birth. 287 women participated, and researchers measured their blood pressure and need for blood pressure medication. The goal was to see if NSAIDs are a good option for managing pain without worsening high blood pressure.
