First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at why women who had preeclampsia during pregnancy are more likely to develop heart disease later in life. Researchers will test how a specific receptor in blood vessels affects function after a high-salt meal. The study involves 40 women (some with past preeclampsia, some without) and uses a small skin patch to measure blood vessel responses.
