This study tested two types of pain-relief injections (liposomal bupivacaine vs. standard bupivacaine) given during fibroid removal surgery. The goal was to see which one reduces the need for strong painkillers like opioids. 140 women took part, and researchers measured how much pain medication they used over 72 hours after surgery.
