First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 293 women who had surgery to remove uterine fibroids (myomectomy). The goal was to find out how often a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) was needed during the procedure and what complications occurred within 30 days after surgery. The researchers hope this information will help doctors and patients make better decisions about fibroid treatment.
