Summary

This study looks at whether a short-term stabilization center (SASC) can help people who have had an opioid overdose. Participants are adults in Seattle who are stable enough to be transferred to the center for less than 24 hours, where they receive monitoring, medication for opioid use disorder, and connections to ongoing care. The goal is to reduce repeat overdoses and improve access to treatment.
