First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested different doses of two antibiotics (minocycline and metronidazole) in a 14-day bismuth-based treatment for people whose H. pylori infection didn't clear with earlier treatments. The goal was to find a version that kills the bacteria just as well but causes fewer side effects than the standard regimen. 480 adults who had failed prior therapy took part across multiple centers.
