Personalized antibiotic dosing could save lives in the ICU
NCT ID NCT07085624
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to dose the antibiotic ceftazidime for patients in intensive care with serious infections. Many ICU patients don't get enough of the drug because their bodies process it differently. The researchers will test a personalized dosing plan to keep antibiotic levels effective but safe. About 128 adults will take part.
