New program aims to catch late effects in childhood cancer survivors

Summary
This trial tests a program called ONLOOP that reminds adult survivors of childhood cancer to get important screening tests. These tests can find late effects like heart disease or second cancers early. About 900 survivors in Ontario will be randomly assigned to get the reminders or usual care. The goal is to see if the program helps more people complete their recommended screenings.
