First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether adding online yoga classes to an internet-based weight loss program can help people lose more weight and keep it off. About 210 adults with obesity will take part. Everyone gets a 12-month online weight loss program, and after 3 months, some also get yoga classes while others get health and wellness classes for 9 months. Researchers will track weight, eating habits, and activity levels over 18 months.

What this could lead to

If it works, this could offer a simple, home-based way to improve long-term weight loss results.

What could go wrong
