Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called olezarsen in 154 adults with very high triglycerides (a type of blood fat) and either heart disease or a high risk for it. The goal was to see if the drug could safely lower triglyceride levels more than a placebo over 6 and 12 months. Participants continued their usual treatments while receiving either the drug or a placebo injection.
