Summary

This study looks at tiny particles called extracellular vesicles released by fat tissue in people with obesity. Researchers want to understand how these particles might affect insulin resistance and differ between men and women. 150 adults scheduled for bariatric surgery will provide fat biopsies and blood samples for analysis.
