Waist shape may predict breathing problems in obesity

Summary

This study will measure how body roundness index (BRI) relates to breathing and exercise ability in 120 adults with obesity. Participants will have lung function tests, breathing muscle strength tests, and a six-minute walk test. The goal is to see if BRI can help identify people who may have trouble with breathing or exercise due to obesity.
